Romance & Real-life Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting women in the Kitchener-Waterloo community by facilitating the development of healthy relationships. At Romance & Real-life Foundation we strive to equip women with the essential skills, knowledge, and tools to aid in their ability to form strong, healthy relationships with family, friends, and romantic partners.
The formation and maintenance of healthy relationships is crucial to fostering the well-being and prosperity of women in our communities. Three main types of relationship types exist; romantic, familial, and amicable. Romantic relationships are characterized by the occurrence of intimacy and courtship with another individual. Familial relationships occur between family members such as parents, cousins, siblings, and children. Amicable relationships involve pleasant and civil relationships between two individuals. At Romance & Real-life Foundation we recognize the importance of strong and healthy relationships for empowering women and creating a strong and supportive community that values equality and womens’ rights.
